The hotel was nice and clean, and the beds were comfortable. We arrived at 2.00 am and the check-in was very smooth. We were very tired and slept long, so we left the room on the spot at check-out time. I apologised to the receptionist for leaving last minute, but she was very understanding and said she saw a late check-in for our room and didn't call us to rush us, which was very kind. We left the car at the hotel car park after check-out and took a taxi to the Christmas market, and returned by taxi to the hotel's car park. The next day, I realised that I had lost my daughter's passport in Gdansk. I was planning to go to the police station close to the town centre the following day but before doing that, I called Amber hotel as I thought that I dropped the passport when getting out of the cab. The receptionist informed me that a taxi driver called a hotel earlier informing them about the passport left in his car and that the manager would call me back later as he was involved in this matter. The manager called me an hour later, checked the name of the passport holder with me, and gave me the driver's mobile number. This was such a relief ! Thank you to the hotel staff for being so friendly and helpful. From the beginning, we were treated very kindly by literally each staff member of the hotel, and when the problem occurred, which wasn't even the hotel's issue, we still received support and help, thank you to the manager who called me and to all hotel employees.

First of all the room was warm and the bathroom. I loved it because it was snowing outside and it was -1'C. Room was clean. Small bottles of water were in the room. Came from the airport really late at night and the check in went smooth. The receptionist and another one who was learning how to do a check in that night were super helpful and nice. My magnetic key didnt work so I got a regular key. Breakfast was excellent. A big vatiety of Polish breakfast food. Different types of cottage cheese = they were delicious. I booked a massage because I saw in the comments that it was recommended...I left the massage feeling like I never felt before. I had so much tension in my back and the gentleman that was massaging me knew exactly what to do to release it. I am impressed. The hotel is in a calm area. The only noise you will hear will be cleaning ladies vacuuming in the morning ;) but hey that is a good noise. It means it's clean in this hotel! :)

A big and spacious hotel room, actually consisting of 2 rooms, a very comfortable bed, lots of blankets, pillows and towels. It was very warm and cosy. A very good minibar with a good choice, lots of bottles with water, both still and sparkling. There is also a kettle with a good choice of tea and coffee. All is very comfortable and well equipped and well thought out for a homey stay. A very big and spacious bathroom with both a shower and a jacuzzi ❤

From the warm welcome at check-in to the attention to detail throughout my stay, every aspect of the hotel service exceeded my expectations. For any solo traveller or cyclist you are in very safe hands! Great room, fab restaurant and breakfast; it's a 1.8km downhill walk into town and I've never paid more than £5 for an Uber back!
